TREGOYD Shoot
Tregoyd offers the very best in high Pheasant and Partridge shooting with luxurious accommodation, located directly under the Black Mountains, just a few miles from Hay-On-Wye.
The shoot is set amongst 3,000 acres of breathtaking countryside between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons and is made up of a varied terrain, ranging from steep rolling grass banks to deep rocky sided valleys. Whether your preference is for challenging high and fast partridges, tall pheasants over woodland rides or pheasants towering high above ancient trees in open parkland, we have something to please all guns.
We pride ourselves on running a traditional shoot and provide the highest standards in both sport and safety.
On arrival coffee is served from our comfortable shoot lodge where we draw our pegs for the day. We aim to be on our pegs for the first drive by 9.30 am and normally shoot four drives in the morning and one after lunch. We stop for refreshments in the morning, and return to the shoot lodge for drinks and a good lunch in the middle of the day. We finish the day with afternoon tea while we wait for the final scores from the Head Keeper.
We are more than happy to show prospective clients around the shoot out of season and can recommend or arrange good local accommodation for your team if required. The days shooting will be confirmed on payment of a deposit followed by payment in full before the day. We can offer days of between 150-500 birds from 1st September onwards subject to availability.
